Help us provide safe places and support

Here are some ideas for how you could help us provide safe places and support for people experiencing homelessness.

It’s very humbling to receive feedback from the people we support that our safe placed and support has helped change and, in some cases, saved lives.

In 2023, across all of our services and programmes, we provided information, advice, support, care, accommodation and homes to 9,500 people.

Sadly, the need for our safe places and support is greater than ever. Could you help us to change and save lives?

Whether you’re; donating pocket money, making a monthly donation, are inspired to take part in an event (or organise your own), or whether you have an amazing idea we’ve never heard before – we’d love to hear from you. Could you get your company, club, organisation or school get involved?

Please email hello@simonscotland.org to say hi and we can arrange a call, video chat or in person meeting.

Make a one-off or regular donation

Your donation will help us provide safe places and support to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in Scotland.

Information, advice, care, empathy, accommodation & homes.

Together, we can change and save lives.

Every single pound makes a difference.

Become a corporate partner

We’re very fortunate to have worked with some incredible companies that have helped us through partnerships, employee fundraising, pro-bono support and in-kind donations.

If your company could help us provide safe places and support to people experiencing homelessness, then we would love to chat.

Leave a Gift In Your Will

A legacy gift to Simon Community Scotland in your Will could help us provide life changing information, care and support to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Please email hello@simonscotland.org if you’re considering leaving us a gift in your Will.

We promise absolute discretion and we can help ensure you have all the correct information you need.

Take part in an event or organise your own

Run, walk, cycle, golf, swim, dance.. there are all kinds of events taking place regularly that you could take part in to raise funds to support our safe places and support for people experiencing homelessness.

Or perhaps you could organise your own! A dance, a dinner, a disco, a lunch, a race night, a football match – whatever you think will bring people together.

And if you do already organise your own events then we would love to speak with you to see if we could be your charity partner.

Take on a Kiltwalk challenge

Look out your kilts and tartan to take on a Kiltwalk challenge to suit you.

Keep an eye on the Kiltwalk website for updates – registration for 2024 is now OPEN!

Feedback from supporters that have taken part in the Kiltwalk has been universally positive. The Kiltwalk team really work hard to deliver an excellent experience for everyone.

Trusts and Foundations

Charitable trusts, foundations and other grant givers fund up to one third of our work, allowing us to support thousands of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

If you’re involved with a Trust or Foundation then we’d love to discuss how we could work together to change and save lives.
