Supporting people and supporting the frontline
Most of our staff team are involved in directly supporting people day-to-day. They provide essential support to those who are sleeping rough or in temporary accommodation, as well as people recovering from homelessness. We also have a range of initiatives designed to make things better for people we support – and we’re always on the hunt for new ideas to try. To do this work, we have staff who provide essential support for our frontline work. They help to manage our finances and keep our systems running smoothly so that we can connect easily with each other and keep doing what is most needed.

Access to confidential staff counselling
We understand how important good mental health is therefore we provide 6 free confidential counselling sessions with an impartial external organisation.
Refer a Friend Scheme
If you have a friend or two who have the same values and experience as you, why not refer them to SCS and if they are hired, you will both receive a cash bonus!
Health Care Plan
We provide the opportunity to join HSF either as an individual or as a family, this is a cash plan and covers various benefits including dental, optical, chiropody etc. It’s just a little help to keep you in tip top condition.
We work in conjunction with a credit union to provide various saving plans & preferential rates for loans, mortgages and cars. Just a little extra to help you make the most of your money.
Holiday Buy and Sell Scheme
We understand that sometimes our current holiday scheme may not provide enough time off – or you may want less! Currently you receive 35 days holiday per annum, increasing to 38 after 5 full years service. You can buy more and spread the cost or sell some and receive a lump sum!
