Period Friendly Points

Period Friendly Points are locations in specific public buildings where anyone who menstruates and are experiencing homelessness can access free products to use during their period. The Points are in public toilets that offer a clean, safe place with access to warm water.

All Period Friendly Points have free tampons and sanitary towels packaged in a small bag which would easily fit in a bag or pocket. Each pack that we provide has enough products in it to supply one person enough product for one cycle.

How are Period Friendly Points stocked?

Period Friendly Volunteers make sure all of our Period Friendly Points are stocked and liaise with staff in each building we cover. We also strive to provide clean underwear and wipes when we can – our Volunteers work hard to encourage donations from people in the community which help give dignity to someone in need.

There are numerous Period Friendly Points in Glasgow and Edinburgh with plans to expand to other cities across Scotland. Find your nearest Period Friendly Point below. The list will grow as we come out of COVID-19 and the restrictions it has placed on us over the last while.
