Andrea Glass is Head of Regions and Foundational Economy Sectors at Skills Development Scotland.   She leads the team of Regional Skills Planning Leads, who work with partners to facilitate a coordinated response to skills challenges and opportunities across Scotland’s regions,  and the Industry Sector Managers for Food and Drink, Tourism, Creative Industries, Health and Social Care and the Rural Economy.  She has more than 25 years’ experience working in the field of economic development and skills,  and prior to joining SDS in 2016 , was the Deputy Director of the Training and Employment Research Unit (TERU) at the University of Glasgow.
