North Lanarkshire overview

We work with over 40 different agencies, partnerships and organisations across the North Lanarkshire Council area and provide a range of support services for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Supported Accommodation

We have two Supported Accommodation services, with eight beds in each, where people can feel safe and secure and receive 24/7 support to address their personal needs, in preparation for independent living. Each person can expect up to 25 hours a week of intensive housing support to help them achieve their personal outcomes.

We also have two additional sites – one with four self-contained flats, promoting independent living with adjoining staff premises, for four men who have experienced homelessness, trauma, mental health and addiction issues, inclusive of challenging behaviours and chaotic lifestyles and the other, a female only service made up of self-contained bungalows promoting independent living to four females on a similar journey.

Outreach (Floating Housing Support) Team

Our staff team of eight provide intensive housing support to approximately 90 people per week to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. Our support includes crisis intervention and resettlement. The service is guided by the needs of the people we support which means the time spent in the service is varied and ongoing.

All four of our supported accommodation services operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Outreach Team work from 9am until 9pm on weekdays and 8am until 6pm on a Saturday with an ‘out of hours’ freephone number available seven days a week.

Homes First

We are the lead partners in a consortium with Barnardos and Blue Triangle. We currently support 50  people and we are looking to expand the service (more info soon).

“We are passionate, caring individuals who make sure the people we support are at the centre of all decisions we make. We go the extra mile for the best and most effective impact. We meet people where they’re at, supporting them on their journey.”
