For sixty years we’ve supported people affected by homelessness across Scotland, meeting people where they are, whatever that means for them, and staying beside them for as long as it takes.
We know times are extremely tough. We see, hear and experience this every day. But people are amazing. And we believe we need to show this, show that there is hope and like Simmy himself says, we need to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
This year we are marking sixty years by sharing seven real experiences from across our services, in people's own words, in whatever way feels right for them to tell it.
Thank you to everyone who's walked it with us so far.

Simmy and the Access Hub
Simmy and the Access Hub
Simmy shows us round the Access Hub in Glasgow, a vital resource for people affected by homelessness.
He now has his own home, but still comes back for his college course, the daily activities and the company. The Hub is open seven days a week, with no appointment needed.
The staff share what the Hub means to them, and what Simmy means to them too. These days, he gives as much as he gets.
This is your part in it.
We’ve been providing safe places, support and hope for over 60-years. This is no cause for celebration. We wish our work was done. But we know that we need to mark our 60th anniversary with the vow to double down and do even more. We need your help to keep doors open, build safety and deliver hope.
We greatly need your support and encouragement to do that. Please help if you can.
