Tracy Orr, Head of Service, Perthshire

Our vision is that everyone deserves a safe place to live and access to the support they need.

Our team of 9 work across North Perthshire & Perth to support people who are at risk of losing their homes. Tenancy sustainment plays a vital role in the prevention of homelessness.

People we support need a wide range of support – social, practical, financial and health – including mental health. We link people to the right services and help them resolve the issues they are facing, ensuring they can sustain their tenancies to live safely and confidently in their own home.

Our work in Perth, described by our team

Working with up to 60 people at a time, we form a necessary and needed service in the Perthshire community.

Our role is diverse and we cater for housing needs, financial aid and mental health support for our clients, often in a time of crisis/urgency. The service is very much needed here in the Perth region and staff take great care over the wellbeing of the people we support.

Each day can be different, however, the wellbeing of the people we support is where we start and end every day. Getting the best outcome for each person – making them feel safe and secure, promoting independence, health and well-being – whatever their circumstances are our aims.

We focus on each and every individual’s needs and fully engage with them in building a better life and future for themselves.

Our Perth team are passionate, empathetic and have a genuine desire to provide practical and emotional assistance to people living in their own homes.
