Our people

People matter. All people matter.

The people we support are amazing

Each person we support is an individual with their own story, life journey and incredible strengths. Many of those we support are also navigating really difficult circumstances. Life can be super tough.

Everyone’s experience of homelessness is unique and multifaceted. People suffer a huge amount of stress and have often experienced incredible trauma in their lives. Trauma and the harms of homelessness lead to complex and intense difficulties for people. People often face challenges over which they have no control.

We know that change can only happen when support matches what people need. It always starts with the person themselves – they know what they want. Their dreams matter. People share heartbreaking stories with us every day. They also share their incredible resilience, humour and gratitude. It’s a privilege to be part of each person's life.
