Ruth Robin is a strategic leader with over two decades of experience driving transformational change across housing, health, and social care in Scotland. Currently serving as Portfolio Lead at NHS Healthcare Improvement Scotland, Ruth leads national programmes focused on drugs, alcohol, and homelessness, embedding trauma-informed, rights-based approaches to improve outcomes for some of Scotland’s most marginalised communities.
Her career spans senior roles in local government, national charities, and the NHS, where she has consistently championed preventative, person-centred interventions. Ruth brings deep expertise in systems thinking, quality improvement, and relational leadership, with a strong track record of co-producing solutions with people with lived experience.
