Perth and Kinross

Perth homelessness services

Our community outreach team works across North Perthshire and Perth to support people who are at risk of losing their homes. Tenancy sustainment plays a vital role in the prevention of homelessness.

The starting point is relationships. We typically meet with people during – or soon after – a time of crisis in their lives. Feeling valued and being listened to is core to our trauma informed approach. It starts with relationships.

We link people to the right services and help them resolve the issues they are facing – including in relation to social, practical and financial matters as well as their physical and mental health. By doing this we can help people sustain their tenancies – so they can live safely and confidently in their own home. By focusing on each person’s situation and what they want, we can be alongside them as they build a better life for themselves. We want everyone to

We want everyone to feel safe and secure. As a much needed service in the Perthshire community, we are privileged to be able to engage with around 60 people at a time. Each person is different and so each day is different for our team. What doesn’t change is the heart of what we do – which is people. People matter, their wellbeing matters.

These are the types of service we provide in Perth and Kinross.
